2010 Schedule

We are looking forward to an exciting year. Our first meeting for the 2010/2011 “Violet Year” will be on Tuesday September 14^th at our usual time of 8:00pm. The program for the evening will include potting up baby plants to get everyone restarted and recharged for the coming year.

An event that you all may be interested in is the TriState AVC show which is scheduled for November 6^th and 7^th. This show will be held at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum in Morristown, NJ. This show always has lots of sale plants available so, if you are looking for some new varieties or want to expand your collection, this is the place to do it.

This year we will not be having a show. This is due to the fact that the AVSA National Convention will be held in Cherry Hill, NJ from May 15^th to May 22^nd. At our meeting on May 10^th we will have a Convention Kick-off pizza party. This should be lots of fun. I encourage all of our members, and all violet lovers, to take the opportunity to attend the National Convention.

It is not often that the National Convention is held in our area.
